243rd Post Jesus Said on the Holy Spirit Con't. - Matthew 12: 31 - 32.

Continued from last post. The Unforgivable Sin Continued.
Why would Jesus say "Sins against Me and the Father" will be forgiven, but sins against the "Holy Spirit" will not be forgiven. Is not the Holy Spirit part of God?? How can God forgive sins against the Father and Son, but not the Holy Spirit? This is what makes this passage hard to understand.
Understanding depends a lot on your understanding of the Trinity. There are three different branches of God, but only ONE GOD! Each branch has its own jobs and duties, they are responsible for. The Father is the Creator, the Son the Savior, and the Holy Spirit is responsible for the condition of people's hearts. It is the Holy Spirit, that turns your heart from unbelief to belief. Think of your heart as soil. When you were sinful, your heart was dry and hard. As the Holy Spirit started His work in you, He broke up your hard soil, fertilized the soil and added much needed water. Over time your heart went from hard to fertile. The sin Jesus is talking about here is that your heart is like concrete; nothing can change it. It takes a while to go from dry and hard to concrete. Once you have reached this point, you are beyond God's ability to save you. This is what the word Apostasy means. If you are afraid that you have committed this sin, YOU HAVE NOT! To commit this sin you must not care for God at all. End times, says there will be a rise of Apostasy even in the Church. This proves that it is going by His Book!
