286th Post Jesus Said Promises to His Followers Authority Con't. - Mark 16: 16

Mark 16:16
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.
This was spoken by Jesus soon after He rose from the dead. This passage comes from a group of passages from Mark, that were not part of the original manuscripts. Though not sure if Mark wrote it, it appears in our Bible because these verses have passed the authenticity requirements to be included in our cannon (Bible). This is prophecy of Jesus, saying how you can identify His followers after Jesus left the earth. Most of these statements have already been fulfilled in the ministries of the Apostles. Drinking of anything deadly, is not supported in the Bible, but there are other writings that say some believers did do this. Could these prophecies be still open? It is possible. There are Old Testament prophecies that are 90% fulfilled, but are still waiting to be totally fulfilled. New Testament scholars would call these fully fulfilled. We won't know for sure until the End of the World. What do you believe??
