466th Post Jesus Predicyions Con't. - Predictions Concerning the End of the Age Con't. - Matthew 24: 32 - 41 Con't.

Matthew 24: 32 - 41; Mark 13: 28 - 32; Luke 17: 26 - 27, 21: 29 - 33, 34 - 35; Continued 4th Post.
The last sign we looked at was Heaven and Earth passing away.  We will now be looking at what Jesus said about the time He would return.  Jesus said that the world will be like the days of Noah.  Many of us know the story concerning Noah's ark, but there is more to the story.  The key lies in why God sent the flood, and why Noah survived.  God saved Noah because he found favor in the eyes of the Lord.  The Flood killed all living things that lived on the land.  Man in his perversion had polluted even the animals.  God could only find 8 people worth saving throughout the world at that time.  This description is very bleak, and shows the world at that time was very dark.  We can look around the earth today, and see the world is dark with sin, but it is still not as dark as it was at the time of Noah.  This is another sign we must consider when talking about End Times and when we think it will occur.  Jesus said the people were eating and drinking, and taking in marriage when Noah entered the ark.  Jesus was saying that the flood found the world unaware of the flood coming; so it will be when Jesus comes the Second Time.  I have run out of space again, continued next post.
