Matthew 21: 2 - 3; Mark 11: 2 - 3; Luke 19: 29 - 30.
Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me. And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, "The Lord has need of them," and immediately he will send them.
This was spoken by Jesus on Palm Sunday, less than one week before His crucifixion. It was prophesied in the Old Testament that the Messiah would enter Jerusalem riding on a foal (colt) of a donkey. (Zechariah 9: 9). Even the Triumphal Entry was prophesied in the Old Testament (Daniel 10: 24 - 28). Verse 26 of Daniel says that the anointed one would be cut off, and shall have nothing. God is showing the world that He has control over time and matter. He is the Only God that is tied to History. The more historians dig in the earth, the more the Bible is proved. What do you believe?? Jesus Is Lord!! Praise God!!
