481st Post Jesus Predictions Con't. - Predictions Concerning End Times Con't. - Luke 21: 34 - 36.

Luke 21: 34 - 36.
But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.  For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.  Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.
This was spoken by Jesus toward the end of His earthly ministry.  Jesus is continuing to tell the disciples about End Times.  Jesus has already mentioned other signs that will come to pass before all things are fulfilled.  In this passage, it sounds like the "End Times" are to come unexpectedly, without notice.  This is not the case, Jesus was telling the disciples, these are the signs of that which will come, but not in order.  This is why Jesus said to watch for the signs, and be ready accordingly.  Now that we have prepared the background for understanding this passage, we will continue to explain the passage in following posts.  Stay tuned.
