493rd Post Jesus Predictions Con't. - Various Predictions Con't. - Luke 22: 10 - 12 Con't.

Luke 22: 10 - 12; Matthew 26: 18; Mark 14: 13 - 15;   2nd Post.
Look at the detail of Jesus' prediction.  All of the elements of this prediction came to pass exactly as Jesus had foretold.  It is interesting to see the amount of detail in this prediction, but we can not find the upper room today based solely on this prediction.  Jerusalem had many gates, and many levels in which to enter the city.  Jesus would have had to be close to the one entrance gate to the City of Jerusalem before He made this prediction.  Whose house it was that contained the upper room has also been the subject of much controversy.  Tradition has it that the house belonged to John Mark's parents.  John Mark, although too young to be one of Jesus' disciples wrote a Gospel, you would know it as the Gospel of Mark.  Peter gave Mark most of the information contained in that Gospel.  Jesus tells the disciples where the room would be located in the house.  How large the room will be, and even if it will be furnished or not.  When God does something, it is always more and greater than what was required.  This is another way to know if something is from God or not.
