467th Post Jesus Predictions Con't. - Predictions Concerning End of the Age Con't. - Matthew 24: 32 - 41 Con't.

Matthew 24: 32 - 41; Mark 13: 28 - 32; Luke 17: 26 - 27, 21: 29 - 33, 34 - 35, Continued 5th Post.
We were talking about the days of Noah in our last post.  Now we look at something Jesus said that has been the subject of many different interpretations.  Like them I will tell you what I think will happen.  Jesus said "Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left  Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left."  What does this mean?  Jesus talks about collecting in His Parables, the "Wheat and Tares", comes to mind.  The farmer sows the seed, and his enemy sows tares (weeds) in the farmer's field at night.  It was not until the plants had matured before the farmer saw he had the weeds, he could not pull the weeds before harvest because he might cause injury to his wheat crop so he waited until harvest.  Then at harvest time, the farmer collects the tares (weeds) first, and burns them; then he collects the wheat and puts it in his barn.  Like the tares (weeds), the evil will be taken first, leaving the righteous (wheat) to be collected last.  I will stop posting on this subject to insert posts about the significance of Good Friday.  Then I will resume Matthew chapter 24.
