480th Post Jesus Predictions Con't. - Predictions Made Concerning End Times Con't. - Luke 21:24.

Luke 21: 24
And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
This was spoken by Jesus toward the end of His earthly ministry.  Jesus was walking the earth during this time of the Gentiles.  This brings up the question, when did the time of the Gentiles start?  When Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple, this was the start of the time of the Gentiles.  Jerusalem is still under the time of the Gentiles.  This has been the situation in Jerusalem since 686 B.C.  Jerusalem has been under Gentile control for so long, that many do not believe this situation will ever change.  Jesus prophesied that the time of the Gentiles control in Jerusalem, would come to an end.  But when and how will this happen?  Jesus in Chapter 24 of Matthew said "That when you see the "Abomination of Desolation" standing in the Holy Place let the reader know and understand."  As mentioned in earlier posts, this passage refers to the anti-christ, that will come and declare "he is god"!  When that happens the scales that have been covering the Jewish eyes since the time of the prophet Isaiah, will fall and the people will see things clearly.  This will set up the battle of Armageddon.  This will end the time of the Gentiles.
